Contact CSLB for information about the licensed contractor you are <br />considering, including information about disclosable complaints, disciplinary actions and <br />civil judgments that are reported to CSLB. Use only licensed contractors. If you fi le a <br />complaint against a licensed contractor within the legal deadline (usually four years), <br />CSLB has authority to investigate the complaint. If you use an unlicensed contractor, <br />CSLB may not be able to help you resolve your complaint. Your only remedy may be in <br />civil court, and you may be liable for damages arising out of any injuries to the unlicensed <br />contractor or the unlicensed contractor’s employees. Box 26000, Sacramento, CA 95826” <br />________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />ARTICLE I: CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br /> <br />A. The Contract Documents shall consist of this Contract, the most recent edition of the <br />Associated General Contractors of California, Inc. form AGCC-1, AGC Standard <br />Form Prime Contract Between Owner and Contractor entire content of which is <br />hereby incorporated into this Contract by this reference and a copy of which is <br />obtainable either from Contractor or the AGC, any supplemental, special or other <br />conditions, drawings, specifications, contractor estimating notes, and addenda issued <br />prior to the execution of this Contract, as well as all change orders, modifications and <br />amendments issued after the execution of this Contract. <br /> <br />B. The Contract Documents are intended to be complementary and what is required by any document <br />shall be binding as if required by all. Performance by Contractor shall be required only to the extent <br />consistent with the Contract Documents, and, to the extent that any of the Contract Documents are <br />inconsistent with this Contract, the terms and conditions of this Contract shall take precedence and are <br />deemed to control the agreement between the parties. <br /> <br />C. Notwithstanding, however, the requirements of Article I.B, above, or any rule of contract construction <br />to the contrary, the specific is deemed to control the general, and the typed or handwritten terms are <br />deemed to prevail over the printed. In case of conflict between the specifications and drawings, the <br />specifications shall govern. <br /> <br />D. This Contract and the Contract Documents contain the entire agreement between the parties and <br />supersede all prior or contemporaneous written or oral communications.
