There was no public hearing scheduled. ACTION ITEMS13. 13.a.22-737 Motion to Designate a Vice Mayor to Serve for a Period of One Year Pursuant to City Charter Section 310 A motion was made by Mayor Gonzalez III, seconded by Councilmember Aguilar, Jr., to appoint Councilmember Azevedo as Vice Mayor. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye:Aguilar Jr., Azevedo, Ballew, Simon, González III, Reynes, Bowen7 - 13.b.22-740 Motion to Appoint City Councilmembers to Serve on the Following Intergovernmental Agencies Until Replaced A motion was made by Councilmember Azevedo, seconded by Councilmember Aguilar, Jr., that this Minute Order be Approved. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye:Aguilar Jr., Azevedo, Ballew, Simon, González III, Reynes, Bowen7 - COUNCIL REQUESTS TO SCHEDULE AGENDA ITEMS14. Mayor Gonzalez made a motion, with a second by Councilmember Aguilar to postpone the City Clerk item to the February 16, 2023 City Council meeting, the motion passed with a 7-0 vote. Councilmember Reynes made a motion, with a second by Councilmember Aguilar to amend the eviction moratorium and bring it back at the next meeting, the motion passed with a 7-0 vote. Councilmember Simon added an item to the next Priority Workshop, to modify District Council Elections and eliminate rank choice voting and add a Cost of Living Adjustment for the Council.
