March 21, 2022City Council Minutes <br />Establish a Vision Zero Transportation Safety Policy <br />Comments were made by the following individuals: Juan Gonzalez, John Minot, Mike <br />Katz-Lacabe, Navarro and Jim Prola <br />22-142 RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to Adopt a Vision <br />Zero Traffic Safety Policy <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Aguilar, seconded by Councilmember <br />Azevedo, that this Resolution - Council be Adopted. The motion CARRIED by <br />the following vote: <br />Aye:Aguilar Jr., Azevedo, Ballew, Cox, Lopez, Simon, Cutter7 - <br />Enactment No: Reso 2022-049 <br />12.b.22-122 Staff Report for a City of San Leandro City Council Resolution Approving <br />and Authorizing Execution of an Agreement for Purchase of the Nimitz <br />Motel Property Located at 555 Lewelling Boulevard (Assessor’s Parcel <br />Number: 412-1-4-1) in an Amount Not to Exceed $6,235,000 (for <br />Short-Term Conversion to a Homeless Navigation Center and Shelter <br />and Long-Term Conversion to Permanent Supportive Housing for the <br />Homeless) <br />Comments were made by the following individuals: Douglas Spalding, Ginny madsen, <br />Stephen Michael Tow, Randy Waage, John Minot, Lucas, Addie Kitchen, Juan <br />Gonzalez, Mimi Dean and Chris Bammer <br />22-123 RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council Approving and <br />Authorizing the City Manager Execute an Agreement to Purchase the <br />Nimitz Motel Property Located at 555 Lewelling Boulevard (APN: <br />412-1-4-1) and Associated Closing Costs in an Amount Not to Exceed <br />$6,235,000 (for Short-Term Conversion to a Homeless Navigation <br />Center and Shelter and Long-Term Conversion to Permanent Supportive <br />Housing for the Homeless) <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Lopez, seconded by Councilmember <br />Aguilar, that this Resolution - Council be Adopted.
