<br />Non-Professional Services Agreement between August 15, 2023 <br />City of San Leandro and Brightview Landscape, Inc., dba Emerald Landscape —Exhibit A Page 1 of 2 <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />1. SUMMARY: The work includes all services, labor, materials, transportation and <br />equipment necessary to perform the work described in these specifications. <br /> <br /> <br />2. SCOPE: Furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and perform <br />all operations necessary and incidental to proper execution and completion of all <br />landscape maintenance activities. This is for the 12-month period from July 1, 2023 <br />to June 30, 2024. <br /> <br /> Task 1: Weekly landscape maintenance <br /> Highlighted in orange in the map below are the areas of the Water Pollution Control <br />Plant that require weekly maintenance. Weekly maintenance includes the following <br />tasks: <br /> Trim grasses and shrubbery to maintain healthy plants and appearance in <br />accordance with Bay friendly guidelines <br /> Remove weeds <br /> Blow or sweep hardscaped areas <br /> Pick up litter in landscaped areas <br /> Inspect and maintain the irrigation and water management system <br /> Scope includes irrigation and maintenance of plants along Davis Street and <br />in front of 2512 Davis Street. <br /> <br /> Task 2: Quarterly weed abatement of the solar panel area <br />The solar panel area is approximately 200 feet by 400 feet and is marked in red in <br />the map below. This work will be completed 6 times during the contract period. <br /> Quarterly maintenance includes: <br /> Remove plants growing in the cracks in the pavement in the solar panel <br />area <br /> Apply approved herbicide to prevent plant regrowth <br /> <br /> Task 3: Weed abatement in pond <br />The area outlined in green in the map below is a treatment pond that is not currently <br />being used. This area requires annual maintenance and will be completed one <br />time during the contract period.
