CAPER 22 <br />OMB Control No: 2506-0117 (exp. 09/30/2021) <br />downpayment assistance loan program, but available funding resources continue to be limited. <br />The City continues to participate in the Alameda County HCD Mortgage Credit Certificate <br />Program. Alameda County ran out of authority to issue more MCCs as of October 2019. Given <br />this, there were no new MCCs issued for properties in San Leandro in 2022-23. ECHO conducted <br />10 Homebuyer Education trainings. A1CHS conducted 2 HE trainings. <br />Regional Goal 7: Supportive Services – Maintain and expand supportive services for lower -income <br />households <br />Activity 7.b: <br />Participating jurisdictions will continue to provide financial support for homeless services. <br />Accomplishments in FY 22-23: The City allocated CDBG public service dollars to Davis Street <br />Family Resource Center Basic Needs Program, SOS Meals on Wheels, Spectrum senior food <br />nutrition program, and CALICO child abuse intervention services. City council approved <br />allocation of General Fund monies to support a shelter and drop-in navigation center for people <br />experiencing homelessness. <br />Regional Goal 8: Marketing – Maintain and expand awareness of affordable housing opportunities <br />and services through marketing efforts <br />Activity 8.c: <br />The participating jurisdictions will continue promoting 211's affordable housing database with <br />current information. <br />Accomplishments in FY 22-23: City staff regularly received calls and emails from people with <br />housing stability issues who are referred to 2-1-1 for services. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
