IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023- <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL APPROVING THE FY 2022-2023 COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AND <br />EVALUATION REPORT (CAPER) FOR SUBMISSION TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN <br />DEVELOPMENT (HUD) <br />WHEREAS, the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 provides that funds be made <br />available for the CDBG Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro is required to submit a FY 2022-2023 Consolidated Annual <br />Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) to HUD for review and approval; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the CAPER, a copy of which is on file with the <br />City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro makes the certifications required by 24 CFR Sections 91.225 and <br />570.303 as contained in the FY 2022-2023 CDBG Annual Action Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE that the FY 2022-2023 <br />CDBG CAPER is approved. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to submit the FY 2022-2023 <br />CAPER to HUD and to take any other actions as are necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of <br />this Resolution. <br />Introduced by _______ and passed and adopted this 18th day of September 2023, by the following vote: <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ATTEST: <br />Kelly B.
