Contract Amendment and Cost Savings <br />•Flock Safety notified the San Leandro Police Department of ALPR camera price increases <br />impacting future camera purchases and the cost to our existing 41 cameras, following the <br />termination of the original CSA on June 30, 2024. <br />•Flock Safety offered the City of San Leandro a cost savings by extending the CSA by five years. <br />•$2,500.00 vs. $3,000.00 per camera. <br />•$41,000.00 annual savings per year. <br />•$205,000.00 over the five-year term for 82 ALPR Cameras. <br />•On-going annual costs are estimated to not exceed $210,000.00.
