IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2023-126 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE GRANT FUNDING AGREEMENT NO. PS24035 WITH THE CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY (OTS) OF $100,000 FOR THE PEDESTRIAN AN❑ BICYCLE SAFETY PROGRAM WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and the California Office of Traffic Safety, a copy of which is attached, was presented to this City Council; and WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro has been awarded a $100,000.00 California Office of Traffic Safety grant to implement a Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Program in San Leandro; and WHEREAS, a Grant Funding Agreement must be completed to allow the California Office of Traffic Safety to disburse the grant funds; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the approval of said document. NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council does RESOLVE as follows: That said agreement is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City.
