<br />Amendment No. 1 to <br />Non-Professional Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and 09/05/2023 <br />West Coast Arborist, Inc. Page 1 of 2 <br />AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO NON-PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND <br />THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND WEST COAST ARBORISTS, INC. <br />FOR <br />CITYWIDE TREE PRUNING, STUMP REMOVAL, AND ARBORIST SERVICES <br /> <br />This Amendment No. 1 (“Amendment”) is made by and between the City of San Leandro (“City”) <br />and West Coast Arborist, Inc. (“Contractor”) (together sometimes referred to as the “Parties”) as of <br />September 5, 2023 and amends that certain Non-Professional Services Agreement (“Agreement”) dated <br />August 1, 2022, between the Parties. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City and Contractor have executed the Agreement, pursuant to which Contractor has <br />provided certain services to City with regard to tree trimming services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to increase the total compensation by <br />$400,000.00. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is hereby <br />acknowledged, the Parties hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows: <br /> <br />1. Section 2 of the Agreement entitled “Compensation” is hereby amended to pay Contractor an <br />additional $400,000.00 for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 for a total sum not to exceed $754,000.00; and <br /> <br />2.
