IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2023-152 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ANNUAL SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT RENEWALS IN FISCAL YEARS 2023-2024 AND 2024-2025 WITH TYLER TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE CITY'S NEW WORLD COMPUTER -AIDED DISPATCH AND RECORDS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM; TO AUTHORIZE A COMBINED AMOUNT OF $455,076.00 TO INCLUDE THE ANNUAL RENEWALS OF $216,703.00 IN FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 AND $216,703.00 PLUS UP TO A 10% INCREASE IN FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 WHEREAS, On October 4, 2021, the City Council approved the annual maintenance renewal agreement with Tyler Technologies for the Computer -Aided Dispatch System for Fiscal Years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023; and WHEREAS, On September 16, 2019, the City Council approved an annual maintenance renewal agreement with Tyler Technologies for the Computer -Aided Dispatch System; and WHEREAS, On September 17, 2018, the City Council approved an annual maintenance renewal agreement with Tyler Technologies for the Computer -Aided Dispatch System; and WHEREAS, On October 16, 2017, the City Council approved an annual maintenance renewal agreement with Tyler Technologies for the Computer -Aided Dispatch System; and WHEREAS, On June 2, 2014, the City Council approved an agreement with Tyler Technologies to upgrade the Computer -Aided Dispatch/Records Management System; and WHEREAS, On October 1, 2012, the City Council approved a five-year maintenance agreement with Tyler Technologies for the Computer -Aided Dispatch/Records Management System; and WHEREAS, a corresponding appropriation for this proposed agreement is already incorporated into the proposed Fiscal Year 2022-2023 budget; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents of the agreement; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That said agreement substantially in the form presented is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
