<br />a. The Committee thanks the staff for further look into Chief Maginnis
<br />b. The Committee supports moving forward with naming the new Police building after
<br />Chief Maginnis
<br />Public Comment was received, there were approximately 3 public speakers.

<br />There being no further comments, by consensus, the Rules Committee recommends
<br />this matter be reported out to Council for further discussion.
<br />2.B.21-295 Discussion of Proposed Mobile Home Park Policy Amendments Related
<br />to Anti-Displacement Protections for Park Residents
<br />Community Development Director, Tom Liao and Avalon Schultz, Principal Planner
<br />presented the item and responded to questions from the Committee members.
<br />RULES COMMITTEE COMMENTS:
<br />a. The Committee supports the recommendations from the Community Development
<br />Director
<br />Public Comment was received, there were approximately 8 public speakers.
<br />Comments were made by the following individuals:
<br />Jesse, Sandy, Adrian (Yobi), Deborah Acosta, Ginny Madsen, Jim Wright, and Donald
<br />Vieira
<br />There being no further comments, by consensus, the Rules Committee recommends
<br />staff return to Rules Committe and moves the item to the next Rules Committee
<br />meeting to give ample time to notify residents
<br />2.C.21-333 Discussion of Tobacco Retailers Licensing Ordinance and Potential
<br />Regulatory Changes
<br />The item was continued to the next Rules Committee.
<br />RULES COMMITTEE COMMENTS:
<br />a. The Committee requested the staff look into notifying the public and stakeholders
<br />of future meetings
<br />b. The Committee supports having and attending a roundtable discussion/community
<br />forum about this item
