IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023-159 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO A NON-PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH WATSON CONSOLES AND TO <br />APPROVE INCREASES IN CUMULATIVE CHANGE ORDERS UP TO 37% OF THE ORIGINAL NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT <br />FOR THE POLICE BUILDING AND SOUTH OFFICES MODIFICATIONS PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 2014.0481 FOR A TOTAL <br />CONTRACT AMOUNT OF $119,386.58 <br />WHEREAS, the City and Contractor, Watson Consoles, have executed the Agreement, pursuant to which <br />Contractor has furnished and installed new Dispatch furniture for the San Leandro Police Building; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the Agreement to cover storage costs prior to furniture installation, <br />repair of damaged furniture components by the prime contractor during construction (to be charged back to the <br />prime contractor), and new monitor mounts installation to accommodate larger screens than those from the original <br />furniture design; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said amendment to the Agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />1. Section 1.1 of the Agreement, entitled "Term of Service", is hereby amended to extend the term from <br />December 31, 2022 through June 30, 2024; and <br />2. Section 2 of the Agreement, entitled "Compensation", is hereby amended to pay the Contractor a sum <br />not to exceed $119,386.58; and <br />3. Exhibit B of the Agreement, entitled "Compensation Schedule & Reimbursable Expenses", is hereby <br />amended as attached; and <br />4. All other terms shall remain in full force and effect. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Aguilar and passed and adopted this 20th day of November 2023, by the <br />following vote: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Aguilar, Azevedo, Ballew, Reynes, Simon, and Mayor Gonzalez (6) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Bowen (1) <br />ATTEST: <br />u,,,- <br />Kell'Y—B.
