<br />Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and <br />Chaplin & Hill Investigative Services LLC for Police Professional Investigations Last revised 10/11/2023 <br /> Exhibit B – Page 2 of 2 <br />EXHIBIT B <br /> <br />COMPENSATION SCHEDULE & REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES <br /> <br />STANDARD INVESTIGATION AND CONSULTING RATE SCHEDULE: <br /> <br />Hourly Investigation Rate: $200.00 per hour, plus any associated expenses incurred as a result <br />of the investigation. <br /> <br />Consulting Rate and Expert Witness Fee: Per C&HIS-Client agreement. <br /> <br />CHARGING STRUCTURE: <br /> <br />A. We charge for our time in minimum units of .25 (15 minutes) of one hour. Travel and <br />report preparation are considered investigative time and will be billed accordingly. <br />B. We charge all expenses and costs incurred as the result of and during the investigation, <br />including, but not limited to expenses incurred, such as interviews, in person meetings, <br />virtual meetings, telephone calls, records and documentary evidence collection and <br />review, investigative research, report generation, and digital evidence collection and <br />review. <br />C. Supplemental incurred expenses and costs are invoiced at actual cost to C&HIS; for <br />example: transcription, printing, parking, tolls, rental vehicles, props and/or special <br />equipment rental. <br />D. We do not charge Clients for initial consultations or to answer questions regarding their <br />bills. If you have a question regarding your bill, please contact us as soon as practical. <br />F.
