IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2023-015 <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION OF THE MAYOR <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as follows: <br />Section 1. The Mayor shall receive a salary in the amount of Three Thousand Eight <br />Hundred dollars ($3,800.00) a month. <br />Section 2. The provisions of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2022-018 shall remain in full force and <br />effect until the provisions of Section 1 of this Ordinance are operative. Upon such date or in such event, <br />the provisions of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2022-018 are hereby repealed. <br />Section 3. The provisions of this ordinance shall not be operative until January 1, 2025. <br />Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after adoption. The City Clerk is <br />directed to publish the title once and post a complete copy thereof on the City Council Chamber bulletin <br />board prior to its adoption. <br />Introduced at a first reading by Councilmember Aguilar on the 4th day of December 2023, and <br />passed to print by the following vote: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Aguilar, Azevedo, Bowen, Reynes, Simon, and Mayor González (6) <br />NOES: Councilmember Ballew (1) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />Passed and adopted the 18th day of December 2023 after publication on 8th day of December 2023, <br />by the following vote: <br />AYES: () <br />NOES: () <br />ABSENT: () <br />ATTEST: ______________________________ <br />Kelly B.
