<br />Amendment No. 2 to <br />Non-Professional Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and SAE Communications 12/5/2023 <br />For Strategic Communications, Crisis/Emergency Public Information Plan Proposals Page 1 of 2 <br />AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND SAE COMMUNICATIONS FOR STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS, <br />CRISIS/EMERGENCY PUBLIC INFORMATION PLAN PROPOSALS <br />AND ON-CALL COMMUNICATION ASSISTANCE <br /> <br />This Amendment No. 2 (“Amendment”) is made by and between the City of San Leandro (“City”) <br />and SAE Communications (“Consultant) (together sometimes referred to as the “Parties”) as of October 24, <br />2023, and amends that certain Consulting Services Agreement (“Agreement”) dated November 1, 2021 <br />between the Parties. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City and Consultant have executed the Agreement, pursuant to which Consultant has provided <br />certain consulting services to City with regard to providing strategic communications, crisis/emergency <br />public information plan proposals and on-call communication assistance, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to extend its duration through December 31, 2024, <br />add additional monies, add an additional scope of work for on-call communication assistance and update <br />the internal City accounting code for the agreement. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, <br />the Parties hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows: <br /> <br />1. Section 1.1 of the Agreement entitled “Term of Services” is hereby amended to extend the term from <br />June 30, 2023 to December 31, 2024; and <br /> <br />2. Section 2 of the Agreement entitled “Compensation” is hereby amended to pay Contractor a sum not to <br />exceed the remaining contract amount of $5,275.32 (for a total Agreement compensation amount of <br />$74,800); and <br /> <br />3. Update the Internal City accounting code for the agreement is 010-14-015-5120. <br /> <br />4. Exhibit A of the Agreement entitled “Scope of Services” is hereby amended to add “on-call <br />communication assistance” to the existing scope of work; <br /> <br />5.
