The site was previously developed <br />and is zoned for Commercial Community, Assembly Use Overlay. <br />The California Department of Conservation (DOC) manages the Farmland Mapping and Monitoring <br />Program to assess and record suitability of land for agricultural purposes. In each county, the land is <br />analyzed for soil and irrigation quality. The highest quality land is designated as Prime Farmland. <br />According to the Alameda County Important Farmland Map prepared by the DOC, the project site <br />and vicinity are designated as Urban and Built-Up Land and the site does not have any identified <br />agriculture or forest land (DOC 2016).
