The Applicant shall <br />9 ensure that its contractor implements specific noise attenuation measures to <br />10 ensure compliance with applicable City and County noise ordinances for the <br />11 duration of the construction period. Noise measures shall include the following <br />12 and shall be included in the construction specifications: <br /> <br />13  Limit construction activities to the hours specified in each local noise <br />14 ordinance. <br /> <br />15  Maintain all equipment in accordance with manufacturer's <br />16 recommendations to minimize noise emissions. <br /> <br />17  Inspect all gasoline and diesel-powered equipment to ensure they are <br />18 equipped with properly functioning exhaust mufflers and intake silencers. <br /> <br />19  Limit unnecessary idling. <br /> <br />20  Use low noise emission equipment where feasible and practical. <br /> <br />21 Location: Terrestrial Project areas <br />22 Monitoring/Reporting Action: Contract specifications <br />23 Effectiveness Criteria: Implementation of this MM will reduce the Project impacts <br />24 on sensitive receptors. <br />25 Responsible Party: Applicant and CSLC <br />26 Timing: Before and after construction <br />Potential Impact: Noise – Impacts on sensitive receptors <br />Other applicable MMs for potential impacts on hydrology and water quality <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: 8D8CF2E2-DF6D-4A11-B610-2B1544DD7C30
