Postmarks not accepted. <br />As a resident of District 1, I often walk around the neighborhood, frankly, do not feel safe. <br />If appointed, I would to work towards asessing and then addressing the various factors <br />(e.g., pedestrian safety, business vandalism and theft, home theft/invasion, car break in). <br />I would use my community development and facilitation skills to foster community involvement. <br />“It takes a whole comunity to raise a child” approach. <br />I have not had the opportunity to serve with City of San Leandro. However, I have served on the <br />Alameda County Measure A Health Tax Oversight Committee, County Childcare Planning <br />Council, County Interagency Children’s Policy Council, etc. <br />4-H, MISSSEY (Motivating, Inspiring, Supporting, Serving, Sexually Exploited, Youth) Board <br />Asian Health Services “Bantaey Srei”, GAPA (Gay Asian Pacific Alliance) <br />UC Davis Alumni <br />Creating community begins at home, thus I am part of a neighborhood block group that <br />do monthly block trash pick up and drain cleanup. I am also an avid gardener, would like to see <br />more greenery to provide shade for pedestrians. <br />1/29/2024
