<br />Non-Professional Services Agreement between <br />City of San Leandro and Dorka Keehn—Exhibit A Page 1 of 2 <br />EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Project as used herein shall refer to Project No.: 2022.0340. <br /> <br />Contractor shall manage the implementation of the Project’s art program, including <br />artwork selection, City approval, community engagement, and project management, <br />KOA will perform the following services: <br /> <br />Phase 1. Public Art Program Development <br /> <br />Art Program Research March 2024 <br /> <br />• Gather key project goals that may affect art process (e.g., community) <br />• Meet with City representatives, architects, and landscape architects to <br />review project architectural and design mandate and aesthetic <br />• Gather project timeline, key milestones <br />• Assess construction considerations <br />• Review relevant permit and/or code considerations <br />• Develop a public art timeline including artwork, city review, community <br />engagement, permitting, and installation <br />• Art plan integrated into project design <br /> <br />Artwork Research & Curatorial Statement March 2024 <br /> <br />• Establish criteria for artwork selection (e.g., experience, demographics, <br />medium) <br />• Research artworks that fit within curatorial and scope criteria <br /> <br />Artist Selection Process April 2024 <br /> <br />• Present possible artworks within scope criteria to Arts, Culture and Library <br />Commission with line item budgets including artwork, structural <br />engineering, transportation, plinth, installation, insurance <br />• Arts, Culture and Library Commission selects and recommends to City <br />Council 2 to 3 options <br />• Manage community feedback process <br />• City Council selects final artwork <br /> <br />Artist Contracting April 2024 <br /> <br />• Develop artist contract with City’s legal team <br />• Facilitate execution of contract between artist and City including budget, <br />insurance and preliminary schedule <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: 368525DA-FC0A-4535-B7F2-D97688BEB532
