Description - 2006 GMC Truck outfitted with specialized communications equipment and <br />emergency lights and siren. <br />b. Capabilities: A vehicle used as a mobile office that provides shelter, access to Department <br />computer and communication systems during extended events. Also capable of transported <br />staff to a location. <br />c. Quantity: 1 <br />d. Expected Life Span: 20 years <br />e. Purpose: To be used based on the specific circumstances of a given critical incident, large <br />event, natural disaster or community event that is taking place. <br />f. Authorized Use: Situations which the Mobile Command Post is authorized for use would <br />include but not be limited to critical incidents, emergencies and natural disasters. <br />g. Fiscal Impact: <br />i. Original Purchase Price: $302,934.15 (2009) <br />ii. Ongoing Yearly Maintenance: $2,000 (average) plus unexpected damage or <br />maintenance issues. <br />iii.
