Fire and Police Protection: Fire protection and police services are provided to the WPCP by <br />Alameda County Fire and the City's police department, respectively. Alameda County Fire Department <br />Station 10 is located at 2194 Williams Street in San Leandro, approximately 0.8 miles southeast of <br />the WPCP entrance. This fire station houses an engine company and responds to portions of Highways <br />880 and 238, along with a residential and commercial area of approximately 2.75 square miles. <br />Relevant policies from San Leandro's 2035 General Plan include, with respect to levels of service from <br />the police and fire departments:50 <br />Policy CSF-1.1 Level$ of Service. Maintain high -quality police and fire protection services through <br />the most efficient and effective possible means. The following minimum level of service standards <br />for police and fire response time (exclusive of dispatch time) shall be maintained: <br />a. Police Services: 5 minute response time for 90 percent of all Priority One calls; <br />so City of San Leandro 2035 General Plan, adopted by City Council in 2016 with subsequent amendments.
