IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2024-051 RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE NON- PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH DENALI WATER SOLUTIONS, LLC FOR BIOSOLIDS HAULING, INCREASING THE CONTRACT BY $100,000 TO A SUM NOT TO EXCEED $344,250 WHEREAS, the City negotiated a contract with Denali Water Solutions LLC beginning April 30, 2021, set to expire November 30, 2024; and WHEREAS, increased water content in biosolids led to an increase in biosolids hauling costs on a per-dry-ton basis; and WHEREAS, there is limited drying bed capacity at the Water Pollution Control Plant facility; and WHEREAS, Denali Water Solutions, LLC is the City’s current vendor for hauling and disposal of biosolids; and WHEREAS, Denali Water Solutions, LLC was selected through a competitive bidding process. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: 1. Section 2 of the Agreement, entitled “Compensation”, is hereby amended to pay the Contractor a sum not to exceed $344,250; and 2. Exhibit A of the Agreement, entitled “Scope of Services”, is hereby amended as attached; and 3. Exhibit B of the Agreement, entitled “Compensation Schedule & Reimbursable Expenses”, is hereby amended as attached; and 4. All other terms shall remain in full force and effect; and 5. That said Amendment No. 2 to the Non-Professional Services Agreement with Denali Water Solutions, LLC for Biosolids Hauling is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
