B. Emergency Lighting shall be provided with an average of 1 foot candle at the floor <br />along the means of egress route. <br />C. Illuminated exit signs shall be provided indicating the means of egress route. <br />D. An address shall be provided that can be seen from the street and have a contrasting <br />background. <br />E. A Knox Box shall be provided for fire department access. <br />VII. WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLAN REQUIREMENTS <br />A. More detailed existing plans will be needed for building permit in order to determine <br />the sewer capacity charge. Current plans indicate new kitchen and restrooms, but <br />not whether it is replacing existing facilities. <br />VIII. PUBLIC WORKS RECYCLING PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Business shall have sufficient solid waste, recycling and organics storage capacity, <br />and service level, to contain all waste generated onsite. Waste shall not be stored on <br />the ground/along fence line. If garbage and/or recycling bin capacity is not sufficient <br />to contain the waste generated at the site, then the business shall subscribe to a <br />higher level of solid waste/recycling service. <br />B. Trash, recycling and organics bins shall be placed curbside no more than 24 hours <br />prior to scheduled service day(s). Bins shall be removed from the curb no more than <br />12 hours after collection service. <br />C. Solid waste & recycling service provider: Alameda County Industries (ACI). Applicant <br />should note the City of San Leandro holds an exclusive franchise agreement for solid <br />waste and recycling services with ACI. <br />D. Project must comply with all City and State construction and demolition debris <br />recycling requirements. Permit applicants must demonstrate compliance by <br />completing and submitting an online Waste Management Plan using Green Halo <br />Systems (www.GreenHaloSystems.com) prior to permit issuance. Applicants must <br />submit recycling and disposal receipts online and submit the waste management <br />report before scheduling the final inspection. Note: Project will not be finaled until all <br />recycling and disposal tags have been registered into Green Halo Systems. <br />E. Recycling Requirements - Applicant is be subject to Alameda County Mandatory <br />Recycling Ordinance #2012-01. For more information, visit <br />www. RecyclingRulesAC.org. <br />IX.
