IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024-093 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONSULTING <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH GPA CONSULTING, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $271,438 FOR <br />ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF THE LAKE CHABOT ROAD EROSION REPAIRS, PROJECT <br />NO. 2023.4020; TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND APPROVE INDIVIDUAL <br />CONTRACT AMENDMENTS UP TO 5% (OR $13,572) OF THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT AMOUNT; AND TO <br />AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND APPROVE CONTRACT AMENDMENTS UP TO A <br />CUMULATIVE VALUE OF 10% (OR $27,144) OF THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT AMOUNT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking consulting firms to perform <br />environmental services in compliance with the National Environmetal Policy Act, for the Lake Chabot <br />Road Storm Erosion Repairs project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after reviewing the sole RFP response received, staff recommends that GPA <br />Consulting, Inc. should be retained to perform the work of the Environmental Services consistent with <br />NEPA for the Lake Chabot Road Storm Erosion Repairs project in an amount not to exceed $271,438; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, GPA Consulting, Inc. has agreed to the terms of the agreement pending Council <br />approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the scope of work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br /> <br />That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized; and <br /> <br />That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to negotiate and approve individual contract <br />amendments up to 5% of the original contract amount, or $13,572; and <br /> <br />That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to negotiate and approve cumulative contract <br />amendments up to a maximum of 10% of the original contract amount, or $27,144. <br />
