Cisco Identity Services Engine is the proposed solution to
accomplish NAC. AMS.NET proposes to install, configure, and implement Cisco
ISE software to the current general release. This will allow the City to implement
new security measures and features available in the current software release.
This allows the wireless environment to be better suited to the City’s network
authentication needs. Services do not include the following: 1) integration with
web services via ISE representational state transfer (REST) or application
programming interface (API); 2) design validation through lab testing. Due to the
complexity of the solution and the number of affected components AMS.NET
recommends performing these actions in a phased approach to minimize risk of
impact to the user base.
