<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br />1 | EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br />Proposers shall provide an executive summary to introduce the proposal, briefly summarizing the <br />proposed transfer/transport, recyclables processing, organics processing, C&D processing, <br />disposal, and disaster debris management services and highlight any unique aspects of their <br />approach. WMAC has <br />an extensive and successful history of local contract implementation, service delivery, and customer <br />satisfaction. <br />Our Approach to Service Excellence <br />Davis Street Resource Recovery Complex <br />Our management team is experienced in providing excellent and responsive contract management to <br />cities in Alameda County, Northern California, and beyond. Specifically, the DSTS is an early adopter <br />of waste collection and diversion innovation and is staffed with accomplished industry professionals <br />who will be available to San Leandro staff to support the contract and provide the City with the best <br />service possible. <br />Situated in San Leandro, California, DSTS is a state-of-the-art facility designed to recover materials <br />for reuse, recycling, or composting and to facilitate the transfer of trash to the Altamont Landfill in <br />Livermore. <br />With 280 employees, a hauling division, multiple recycling facilities, a first-of-its-kind composting <br />facility, in one of the most highly regulated areas, DSTS sets the example for current and future <br />environmental performance.
