Amendments to Waste Management Organizational Chart as of July 11, 2024 <br /> <br />Insert in place of Todd Storti for Area Director of Recycling Operations <br />Marcus Nettz, II | Area Director, Recycling Operations and Organics <br />Role in Serving San Leandro: Marcus is responsible for the oversight of area recycling facilities <br />in WM’s Northern California and Nevada Region. He will ensure the Authority’s materials are <br />processed thoroughly for maximum material separation and diversion. <br />Qualifications and Experience: Marcus has dedicated 30 years to progressive leadership roles <br />in the solid waste and sustainability industry. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with <br />local governing bodies and environmental groups, championing proactive measures to protect the environment and <br />work toward a sustainable future. With his extensive experience and commitment to sustainability, he is focused on <br />providing exceptional customer service and strengthening partnerships with Bay Area Communities. <br /> <br /> <br />Insert in place of Marcus Nettz for Area Director of Disposal Operations <br />Scott Tignac | Area Director Disposal Operations <br />Role in Serving CCCSWA: Scott serves as Area Director for Disposal Operations for Northern <br />California/Nevada. His duties comprise managing landfill and recycling operations, including providing support to <br />managers, monitoring budget and operating metrics, overseeing asset allocation, and implementing controls to <br />ensure safety and compliance. <br />Qualifications and Experience: Scott has 37 years in the solid waste, landfill, and recycling industry. He has worked in <br />areas such as Landfill Management and Operations, Organics Recycling, Construction and Demolition Recycling, tire <br />and asbestos management and Landfill gas-to-energy.
