IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2024-123 RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS TO PURCHASE SCHWARZE MODEL A7 TWIN ENGINE TORNADO SWEEPER MOUNTED ON A NEW 2025 FREIGHTLINER M2 106 PLUS TRUCK CHASSIS FROM MUNICIPAL MANAGEMENT EQUIPMENT FOR $421,811; WHICH WILL BE PURCHASED THROUGH SOURCEWELL, A COOPERATIVE CONTRACT PURCHASING AGENCY; AND AUTHORIZE AN INCREASE IN CONTRACT PRICE OF UP TO $50,000 TO ACCOUNT FOR ANY CHANGE IN PURCHASE PRICE DUE TO MARKET VOLATILITY WHEREAS, a quote for an equipment purchase from Municipal Management Equipment is presented to this City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the purchase of said equipment. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That the purchase of equipment listed on the quote from Municipal Management Equipment, attached hereto and made a part hereof substantially for the price listed is approved and purchase of the equipment by the City Manager is authorized; and That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to execute all documents to effect the intent and purpose of this resolution; and That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to spend an additional $50,000 in case prices change due to market volatility.
