January 6, 2025City Council Minutes <br />Comments were made by approximately 4 people. <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Aguilar, Jr., seconded by <br />Councilmember Viveros-Walton, that this Staff Report be Approved. The <br />motion CARRIED by the following vote: <br />Aye:Aguilar Jr., Azevedo, Simon, González III, Bowen, Viveros-Walton, Boldt7 - <br />Enactment No: Reso 2025-004 <br />COUNCIL REQUESTS TO SCHEDULE AGENDA ITEMS11. <br />The City Council agreed to add the following items to their Council Priority Discussion: <br />CM Azevedo: 1. Trap, neuter and spay stray cats. 2. Lock up all dumpsters in malls <br />and shopping centers. 3. Designate a specific area to light off small fireworks. <br />CM Viveros-Walton: 1. Limit rent increases. 2. Just cause eviction ordinance.3. Tenant <br />anti-harassment ordinance and 4. Lake Chabot Road <br />CM Simon: 1. Lewelling Boulevard and Estudillo freeway undercrossing safety and <br />beautification. 2. Front of homes require to have a green space and front yard trees. 3. <br />Policy to replace dilapidated streets. <br />CITY COUNCIL REPORTS, CALENDAR AND ANNOUNCEMENTS12. <br />City Councilmembers reported on attendance at intergovernmental agency meetings, <br />conferences, and seminars since the last meeting.
