Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and 12/10/2024
Critical Intervention Corps LLC for Security Assessment Services Exhibit A – Page 1 of 1
EXHIBIT A
SCOPE OF SERVICES

The City’s Security Assistance Program aims to provide valuable security services to small businesses in
San Leandro. One of these services is the in-depth security assessment of small business premises in
order to establish reasonable and effective improvements to minimize risk of property crime.

Critical Intervention Corps’s (CIC) Multi-point Business Security Assessment is designed to assess every
corner of a commercial property to provide cutting-edge, dynamic solutions to the most challenging
concerns. It will outline exactly how to hard-target client locations both inside and outside, throughout a 2-4
hour split session for daytime and nighttime hours The client site will be continuously be assessed for
potentially problematic weak points. CIC will be there to try everything before criminals think of it.

The Multi-point Assessment will spend time on location during peak operating hours, assessing everything
from ingress and egress, foot traffic, windows, point-of-sale, cameras, alarms, cash movement, and its
short-term storage location. At night, CIC’s professionals monitor foot traffic in the neighborhood, lighting,
alarm response times, and much more. CIC’s client questionnaire allows us to understand each client’s
individual operation and concerns upfront.

CIC’s professionals are Corporate Security Managers who are fully prepared to audit not just the property
but preparedness, the option of ongoing employee training and development, et.c

At the end of the assessment, business owners will be presented with a full report outlining all
recommended upgrades to their current hardware and procedures. CIC presents cost-effective solutions
and pricing from both CIC’s Security Solutions Department as well as one top competitor. Current
neighborhood crime statistics will be standard with every report. The aim is to equip participants tips and
tricks to turn their locations from soft targets for criminals into proverbial fortresses that the criminal element
naturally avoids.

It should be stressed that, though the report and recommendations are designed to safeguard commercial
premises as securely as possible, there can be no guarantees that implementation of such
recommendations will result in a 100% crime-proof facility. The overall goal of this program is to educate
business and property owners, and to discourage criminal activity by making the premises as uninviting to
criminals as possible.

Docusign Envelope ID: E476F824-40AC-4966-A6FD-A5D7B304E07A
