IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-029 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 <br />TO THE SECURITY SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH ANI PRIVATE SECURITY AND PATROL, INC. <br />FOR A NEW NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $180,000 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City entered into an agreement with ANI Private Security and Patrol, Inc. on July 1, 2024, for <br />the provision of security services at various City facilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ANI Private Security and Patrol, Inc. has provided excellent security services while maintaining <br />a high standard of customer service; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the agreement to extend security services at City Hall and increase <br />service hours at the Senior Community Center, thereby increasing compensation to $180,000 through June 30, <br />2025; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and finds the amendment acceptable; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of the proposed amendment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br /> <br />1. Amendments to Exhibit B of the Agreement, entitled “Compensation,” to authorize an additional <br />sum of $80,000, for a total contract amount not to exceed $180,000, are hereby approved; and <br /> <br />2. Amendments to Exhibit A of the Agreement, entitled “Scope of Services,” to extend front desk <br />security services at San Leandro City Hall through June 30, 2025, and to increase service hours at <br />the San Leandro Senior Community Center to 8.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, are hereby <br />approved; and <br /> <br />3. All other terms of the agreement shall remain in full force and effect; and <br /> <br />4. The City Manager is authorized to take all necessary actions and execute all documents required to <br />implement the purpose and intent of this Resolution. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Aguilar and passed and adopted this 7th day of April, 2025 by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Aguilar, Azevedo, Boldt, Bowen, Simon, Viveros-Walton, Mayor González (7) <br /> <br />NOES: None (0) <br /> <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> Kelly B.
