<br />Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and <br />The EcoHero Show for Recycling & Sorting Outreach to SL Elementary Schools Exhibit A – Page 1 of 2 <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br /> <br />The EcoHero Show will provide recycling and sorting outreach and education to 17 San Leandro <br />elementary schools (both public and private) over the next year. Outreach and education will focus primarily <br />on recycling bottles & cans (~80%), with the remainder focusing on organics recycling & sorting. These <br />activities will be fully funded using a combination of the CalRecycle (CCPP) grant funds and Measure D <br />funds. <br /> <br />COMPANY <br />About: <br />The EcoHero Show LLC believes monumental change begins with youth and combined their passions for <br />hip-hop and sustainability to create The EcoHero Show. Since 2015, Mr. Eco and his EcoHero sidekicks <br />have performed for schools around the globe, with the philosophy that every kid can ch ange the world. <br />Through their program, students are introduced to sustainability issues and how they can get involved. <br />Performers teach dances or call & responses to each of their music videos. Between songs, various topics <br />are discussed through storytelling & trivia to illustrate how students can have an impact on their ecosystem <br />at home and at school. In addition to presentations, The EcoHero Show offers ongoing learning resources, <br />including rap-along books and custom creations. <br /> <br />Experience: <br />● The EcoHero Show has been hired by 140+ cities/counties in CA, with the majority using CalRecycle <br />grants. <br />● They have performed environmental shows programming for 2,700+ schools in seven countries reaching <br />1.4 million+ students. <br />● Their YouTube channel has 27,000+ subscribers and 3,500,000+ million views <br />● Their program has been adapted to suit both in-person and live-streaming formats. <br />● The EcoHero Show has created custom materials for 25 cities/counties to promote sustainability <br />initiatives that reflect their unique jurisdictions. <br /> <br />PROGRAM <br />Goals: <br />Presentations will accomplish the following: <br />● Reinforce and create a sustainable culture at schools <br />● Education on proper recycling (with a focus on bottles, cans, and organics) <br />● Education in food waste reduction <br />● Promote personal behavior change to adopt at school and home <br />● Inspire EcoHero leaders for their life <br /> <br />Workflow: <br />How the process works: <br />● The EcoHero Show will work with the City to identify messaging preferences, budget, and a list of eligible <br />schools in advance of any school outreach. <br />Docusign Envelope ID: 0A82D4AF-0D89-434A-9A8A-59704C6EA308
