IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-036 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO THE CITY-WIDE MASTER SALARY SCHEDULE <br />EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2025 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the San Leandro City Employees Association (SLCEA) Memorandum of Understanding <br />(MOU) provides for a salary adjustment effective January 1, 2025, which includes equity adjustments for <br />classifications determined to be below market median based on the results of a total compensation <br />survey and a 6.5% salary increase; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Confidential Employee Compensation Plan provides salary adjustments effective <br />January 1, 2025, which includes equity adjustments for classifications determined to be below market <br />median based on the results and a 6.5% salary increase; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City-wide Master Salary Schedule has been revised to reflect the negotiated salary <br />adjustments stated above; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City-wide Master Salary Schedule has also been revised to reflect changes to <br />SLCEA represented job classifications, including new job classifications, job title changes, and the <br />removal of obsolete job classifications. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br /> <br />That the City of San Leandro hereby approves the Master Salary Schedule attached hereto as <br />Exhibit A and made a part hereof effective January 1, 2025 for all job classifications represented by <br />SLCEA and all unrepresented Confidential Employees. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Viveros-Walton and passed and adopted this 21st day of April 2025 <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Aguilar, Azevedo, Bowen, Viveros-Walton, Mayor González (5) <br /> <br />NOES: None (0) <br /> <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Boldt, Simon (2) <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> Kelly B.
