May 19, 2025City Council Minutes Enactment No: Ord 2025-003 10.c.25-240 First Reading of an Ordinance to Repeal Ordinance No. 2009-001 and Adopt a New Ordinance Relating to Fire Hazard Severity Zones Comments were made by approximately 1 person. A motion was made by Councilmember Boldt, seconded by Councilmember Aguilar, Jr., that this Staff Report be Approved. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye:Aguilar Jr., Simon, González III, Bowen, Boldt5 - Absent:Azevedo, Viveros-Walton2 - Enactment No: Ord 2025-007 10.d.25-220 Staff Report for First Reading of Draft Ordinance Revisions that will Authorize a Fourth Retail Cannabis Dispensary Business, as well as a Resolution Awarding the City of San Leandro’s Fourth Cannabis Dispensary Operating Permit to DSWC II Inc., to be Effective 30 Days Following the Adoption of the Ordinance Comments were made by approximately 11 people. A motion was made by Councilmember Aguilar, Jr., seconded by Councilmember Bowen, that this Staff Report be Approved and a request was made to staff to bring this item to Rules Committee to discuss process, and that future applicants are treated comparatively. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye:Aguilar Jr., Simon, González III, Bowen4 - Nay:Boldt1 - Absent:Azevedo, Viveros-Walton2 - Enactment No: Ord 2025-008, Reso 2025-052 COUNCIL REQUESTS TO SCHEDULE AGENDA ITEMS11.
