June 2, 2025City Council Minutes <br />Project No. 2022.0340; to Authorize the City Manager to Negotiate <br />and Approve Individual Change Orders up to 5% (or $18,054) of the <br />Original Contract Amount; to Authorize the City Manager to Negotiate <br />and Approve Change Orders up to a Cumulative Value of 10% (or <br />$36,108) of the Original Contract Amount; and to Appropriate an <br />Additional $140,678 From the Park Development Fees to the Project <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Aguilar, Jr., seconded by Mayor <br />González III, that this Staff Report be Approved. The motion CARRIED by the <br />following vote: <br />Aye:Aguilar Jr., Azevedo, Simon, González III, Bowen, Viveros-Walton, Boldt7 - <br />Enactment No: Reso 2025-060 <br />CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY REPORTS AND COMMENTS6. <br />City Manager Cameron reported on the summer library program, Level Up. She also <br />announced the Cherry Parade and Festival are Saturday June 7 and Alameda <br />County Fire Division Chief Bowie will host an emergency preparedness workshop on <br />June 11. She also introduced the new Deputy City Manager Dustin Claussen. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS7. <br />Comments were made by approximately 12 people. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS8. <br />8.a.25-263 Public Hearing Number 4 to Receive Input from the Community on <br />City Council Districts to be Established for District-Based Elections <br />Beginning in 2026 and the Sequence of Elections <br />Comments were made by approximately 2 people. <br />This matter was Accepted as Submitted <br />PRESENTATIONS9. <br />9.a.25-271 Proposed FY 2026-27 Biennial Budget Presentation <br />Comments were made by approximately 2 people. <br />A M/S by CM Aguilar/CM Viveros-Walton to extend the meeting to 11 pm, motion <br />passed, 7-0 unanimous. <br />A M/S by CM Viveros-Walton/CM Boldt to extend the meeting to 11:15 pm, motion <br />passed, 6-1 with CM Simon voting no. <br />A M/S by CM Boldt/CM Aguilar to extend the meeting 15 minutes to 11:30 pm, motion <br />passed, 7-0 unanimous. <br />This matter was Presented <br />Page 4City of San Leandro
