IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-065 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 2 <br />TO THE CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH DIXON RESOURCES UNLIMITED FOR PARKING <br />PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SERVICES THROUGH JUNE 30, 2027 FOR A TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED <br />AMOUNT OF $168,000 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 17, 2017, the City Council authorized the City Manager to enter into an <br />agreement with Dixon Resources Unlimited (Dixon), for the oversight of the Downtown San Leandro <br />parking system and guided implementation of the City’s new downtown parking management plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 21, 2022, the City entered into a three-year Consultant Services Agreement <br />with Dixon for parking program management services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 10, 2023, Council approved funding for the second and third year of the <br />Consultant Services Agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Consultant Services Agreement provides for a written extension of the Agreement <br />and Dixon provided a two-year proposal for parking program management, management of the parking <br />enforcement program, support with meter and pay station installation, financial revenue forecasting, <br />license plate reader data collection and analysis, and an update to the 2017 Downtown Parking <br />Management Plan for a total cost not-to-exceed $84,000 in Fiscal Year 2026 and $84,000 in Fiscal Year <br />2027; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Proposed Fiscal Year 2025-2026 and FY 2026-2027 Biennial Budget includes <br />funding for parking program management services in the Parking Fund (Fund 132); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Dixon Resources Unlimited has agreed to the terms of Amendment No. 2 to the <br />Consultant Services Agreement pending Council approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council does RESOLVE as follows: <br /> <br />That said amendments to the agreement are hereby approved and execution by the City Manager <br />is hereby authorized. <br />
