2 <br /> <br />How did we do on our 2024 Workplan? Here’s a snapshot: <br /> <br />• Conducted 5 major SLPD policy reviews with recommendations (Military equipment -annual review, ALPR’s, MAV, BWC, Use of force) <br />• Onboarded two new Bd. members <br />• City Council amended Ordinance re student/youth representation (change to ex-officio; expanded age range) <br />• Completed 2nd CPRB Annual Report and submitted to City Council <br />• Provided City Manager input on criteria for selection of new Police Chief <br />• Updated CPRB webpage; produced informational handout in Spanish and Mandarin <br />• Expanded Community Outreach with presentations to the Youth Advisory Commission (2X) and the Rotary <br />• Not completed: Recruitment for ex-officio youth positions; Budget input to City Manager re SLPD and CPRB budgets; Outreach to <br />neighborhood associations <br />
