IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2025-104 RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE SECURITY SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND ANI PRIVATE SECURITY AND PATROL, INC. FOR AN ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $162,584 FOR A NEW TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $342,584 WHEREAS, the City entered into an agreement with ANI Private Security and Patrol, Inc. on July 1, 2024, for the provision of security services at various City facilities; and WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the agreement to extend security services through June 30, 2026, thereby requiring additional compensation of $162,584 for FY 2025-2026; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and finds the amendment acceptable; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of the proposed amendment. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: 1. That the amendments to Exhibit B of the Agreement, entitled “Compensation,” to authorize an additional sum of $162,584 for FY 2025-2026, for a new total contract amount not to exceed $342,584 are approved; and 2. That Amendments to Exhibit A of the Agreement, entitled “Scope of Services,” specify continued service hours at the San Leandro Senior Community Center as, Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, are hereby approved; and 3. That the City Manager is authorized to take all necessary actions and execute all documents required to implement the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
