<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX 9 <br />place throughout project construction and verification shall occur during normal construction site <br />inspections). <br />35. Construction Truck Route. The Applicant/Owner shall prepare a construction truck route plan that <br />would restrict trucks to arterial streets that have a sufficient pavement section to bear heavy truck traffic, <br />thereby minimizing noise and traffic impacts to the community. The construction truck route plan shall be <br />reviewed and approved by the City Engineer prior to issuance of any building or grading permits. <br />36. Construction Contract. All construction contracts shall include the following requirements: <br />Maintain and tune all proposed equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations <br />to minimize noise emission. <br />a. Unpaved construction sites shall be sprinkled with water at least twice per day; <br />b. Trucks hauling construction materials shall be covered with tarpaulins or other effective covers; <br />c. Streets surrounding demolition and construction sites shall be swept at least once per day; and <br />d. Paving and planting shall be done as soon as possible. The City shall charge the Applicant/Owner, <br />and the Applicant/Owner shall pay, for all costs of sweeping city streets in the vicinity of the <br />project as necessary to control dust and spillage. <br />37. Construction Facilities. Potable water and temporary sanitary facilities shall be provided to workers <br />during construction activities. Temporary sanitary facilities shall be kept in a clean and odorless <br />condition, secured, and located away from nearby residences and businesses. <br />38. Compliance with Standards of Sanitation During Construction. The Applicant/Owner shall comply <br />with the following high standards of sanitation during construction of improvements: garbage cans, <br />construction dumpsters, and debris piles shall be removed on a minimum weekly basis. All food <br />related trash items such as wrappers, cans, bottles, and food scraps shall be disposed of in closed <br />containers only and shall be regularly removed from the site. Inspections, conducted as part of the <br />regular construction compliance, will be conducted to ensure compliance of the Applicant/Owner <br />and contractors with these requirements. <br />39. Water Quality Control during Construction. All construction contracts shall include the following <br />requirements: <br />a. Streets surrounding demolition and construction sites shall be swept at least once per day. <br />40. Discovery of Historic/Prehistoric Artifacts or Human Remains. If currently unknown <br />historic/prehistoric artifacts or human remains are discovered during ground disturbing activities, the <br />following measures shall be implemented: DRAFT
