IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE CITY MANAGER EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO A <br />CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH MCGUIRE & HESTER FOR THE DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL <br />OF THE HAAS AVENUE PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AND OTHER DEBRIS IN THE AMOUNT OF $136,268.17 FOR <br />A NEW TOTAL NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $363,768.17 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is in contract with McGuire & Hester for emergency work to address the collapse of <br />the Haas Avenue pedestrian bridge; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Amendment No. 2 to add scope and fee to the Haas Avenue pedestrian bridge contract with <br />McGuire and Hester is presented to this City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the execution of said amendment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br /> <br />That execution of Amendment No. 2 with McGuire & Hester for the Haas Avenue Pedestrian Bridge <br />demolition and removal project at the price listed in the staff report and mentioned herein is approved and <br />execution by the City Manager is authorized; and <br /> <br />That the City Manager is authorized to take all action and execute all documents necessary to effect the <br />purpose and intent of this Resolution. <br /> <br />Introduced by _______________ and passed and adopted this 3rd day of February 2025 by the following <br />vote: <br /> <br />AYES: () <br /> <br />NOES: () <br /> <br />ABSENT: () <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> Kelly B.
