IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025- <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE FY 2024-2025 BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR FY 2023-24 ONE-TIME <br />APPROPRIATION OF UNSPENT FUNDS FOR THE GENERAL FUND <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approves annual budgets based on best revenue and expenditure <br />information available at the time the budgets are prepared, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 General Fund, Special <br />Revenue Funds, Enterprise Fund, and Internal Service Funds budgets on May 15, 2023, and <br />WHEREAS, the audited FY 2023-2024 financial results in the staff report are presented to the City <br />Council, and the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof, and <br />WHEREAS, revenue exceeded expenditures, and some expenditure savings resulted in $915,936 <br />in unspent FY 2023-2024 General funds, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council Finance Committee reviewed the audited FY 2023-2024 year-end <br />financial results and proposed 2024-2025 budget amendment for FY 2023-2024 unspent funds on <br />February 26, 2024, and forwarded it to City Council for discussion. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That said 2023-2024 audited year-end financial results are accepted; and <br />That by the adoption of this Resolution the budget amendment for FY 2024-2025, as directed by City <br />Council at the March 17, 2025, City Council meeting, is approved, including all the attachments to this <br />Resolution, which are incorporated herein and made a part hereof. <br />Introduced by Councilmember _______ and passed and adopted this 17th day of March 2025, <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: () <br /> NOES: () <br /> ABSENT: () <br /> <br />ATTEST: ___________________________ <br />Kelly B.
