IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE INVESTMENTS OF MONIES IN THE LOCAL AGENCY INVESTMENT <br />FUND AND DESIGNATE CERTAIN DEPOSITORIES AND FURTHER AUTHORIZE SPECIFIC CITY <br />OFFICIALS TO REMIT MONIES IN THE CITY TREASURY TO THE STATE TREASURY FOR DEPOSIT IN <br />THE LOCAL AGENCY INVESTMENT FUND <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 730 of the Statutes of 1976, Section 16429.1 was added to the <br />California Government Code to create a Local Agency Investment Fund in the State Treasury for the <br />deposit of money of a local agency for purposes of investment by the State Treasurer; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the deposit and withdrawal of money in the Local Agency <br />Investment Fund in accordance with the provisions of Section16429.1 of the Government Code for the <br />purpose of investment as stated therein is in the best interests of the City of San Leandro. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That the findings described above are made, and that the City Council authorizes the deposit and <br />withdrawal of City of San Leandro monies in the Local Agency Investment Fund in the State Treasury in <br />accordance with the provisions of Section 16429.1 of the California Government Code for the purpose of <br />investment as statement therein, and verification by the State Treasurer’s Office of all banking <br />information provided in that regard; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following City officials or their successors in office shall be <br />authorized to order the deposit or withdrawal of monies in the Local Agency Investment Fund: <br />Janelle T. Cameron <br />City Manager <br />T. Michael Yuen <br />Assistant City Manager <br />Nicole Gonzales <br />Finance Director <br />Felicia Silva <br />Assistant Finance Director <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 2024-136 is hereby rescinded.
