July 21, 2025City Council Minutes <br />Amount of $219,500 <br />Received and Filed on the Consent Calendar. <br />Enactment No: Reso 2025-105 <br />5.q.25-369 Minutes from the July 7, 2025 City Council Meeting <br />Approved as Submitted on the Consent Calendar. <br />5.r.25-363 Minutes from the June 12, 2025 Facilities and Transportation Committee <br />Meeting <br />Approved as Submitted on the Consent Calendar. <br />5.s.25-364 Minutes from the July 10, 2025 Facilities and Transportation Committee <br />Meeting <br />Approved as Submitted on the Consent Calendar. <br />CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY REPORTS AND COMMENTS6. <br />There were no reports. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS7. <br />Comments were mad by approximately 4 people. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS8. <br />8.a.25-347 Adopt: 1) First Reading of an Ordinance to Amend the Municipal Code to <br />Update Parkland Dedication Requirements for Residential Subdivisions; <br />2) A Resolution to Amend Administrative Code Title 8, Chapter 8 (Park <br />Facilities Development Impact Fee) to Update the Park Land Acquisition <br />and Park Improvement Fees, Establish Fee Waivers/Reductions for <br />Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and Affordable Housing Units, and <br />Approve the Park Development Impact Fee Study and Parks Capital <br />Improvement Plan; and 3) A Resolution to Exempt ADUs from the <br />Development Fees for Street Improvements <br />The Hearing was opened to the public. <br />Comments were made by approximately 4 people. <br />There being no further public comments, and without objection, the Public Hearing <br />was closed. <br />By consensus the City Council directed staff to schedule an agenda item <br />regarding public art development at an upcoming Rules Committee meeting, <br />with staff returning to the City Council with an ordinance before the end of <br />2025. <br />Page 5City of San Leandro
