IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH KDC ACCOUNTING & <br />CONSULTING, LLC FOR A ONE-YEAR TERM IN AN AMOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED $125,000 <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro has previously worked with KDC Accounting & Consulting, <br />LLC to prepare the annual comprehensive financial report (ACFR) and other required annual financial <br />reports due to staff turnover in the Finance Department; and <br />WHEREAS, KDC Accounting & Consulting, LLC has considerable experience in governmental <br />accounting as well as familiarity with the City’s systems, policies, and procedures; and <br />WHEREAS, the agreement between the City of San Leandro and KDC Accounting & Consulting, a <br />copy of which is attached to the staff report and by reference made a part hereof, has been presented to <br />this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That the Consulting Services Agreement with KDC Accounting & Consulting for a do-not-exceed <br />amount of $125,000 for a one-year term with an option to renew for up to two years under the same <br />terms is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is authorized; and <br />That the City Manager is authorized to execute all documents and take all actions necessary to <br />effect the purpose and intent of this Resolution. <br />Introduced by Councilmember _______________ and passed and adopted this 7th day of April 2025 <br />by the following vote: <br />AYES: () <br />NOES: () <br />ABSENT: () <br />ATTEST: <br />Kelly B.
