IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025- <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A LEGAL <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH STREAM, KIM, HICKS, WRAGE & ALFARO, PC THROUGH JUNE 30, <br />2025 FOR A TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $400,000 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City, in accordance with its purchasing provisions, has identified Stream, Kim, <br />Hicks, Wrage & Alfaro, PC to provide legal representation associated with tort liability claims and <br />litigation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the attorneys at Stream, Kim, Hicks, Wrage & Alfaro, PC have the expertise to provide <br />representation in tort liability and litigation to the City Council and the City’s administration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Risk Management has sufficient funds in Fiscal Year 2024-2025 account 689-19- <br />004-5110 for legal services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Stream, Kim, Hicks, Wrage & Alfaro, PC has agreed to the terms of the contract <br />pending Council approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council is familiar with the contents of the agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council does RESOLVE as follows: That the <br />agreement is approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized. <br />Introduced by Councilmember and passed and adopted this 21st day of April 2025, by the <br />following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: ABSENT: DRAFT
