Operational <br />Restrictions <br />The original plan was to add a FT Librarian and <br />a FT Library Assistant to open 34 hours/week <br />Current Budget allows: 12 hours/week Tues, <br />Wed., Thur. 1PM-5PM <br />June 2, staff proposed a FY26 City budget that <br />included a reduction of 5.06 FTE Library Staff. <br />FY27, FY28, FY29 and for the foreseeable <br />future, we expect the staffing picture to get <br />tighter, not more expansive. <br />Pg 28 City Council June 9, 2025
