IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONSULTING <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH PFM ASSET MANAGEMENT (PFM ASSET MANAGEMENT) FOR <br />INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $110,000 <br />ANNUALLY FOR THREE YEARS WITH TWO ONE-YEAR RENEWAL OPTIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro desires to enter into an agreement with a qualified and <br />experienced investment management services firm to invest surplus cash (less debt and some bond <br />proceeds); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City conducted an RFP in April 2025 and three qualified firms responded; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, PFM Asset Management was selected based on experience and qualifications to best <br />meet the City’s goals and objectives; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br /> <br />That sufficient funding exists in the Finance FY 2025-2026 & 2026-2027 operating budget; and <br /> <br />That said agreement is approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and <br /> <br />That the City Manager is authorized to take all actions and execute all documents necessary to <br />effect the purpose and intent of this Resolution. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember _______________ and passed and adopted this 16th day of June 2025 <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: () <br /> <br />NOES: () <br /> <br />ABSENT: () <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />Kelly B.
