IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND ACCEPT FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026 MEASURE BB FUNDS IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $1,842,903, AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE <br />AGREEMENTS FOR MEASURE BB FUNDED PARATRANSIT SERVICES <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro seeks to continue to provide paratransit services to older <br />residents and people with disabilities who are 18+ years old and East Bay Paratransit certified; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro is entitled to receive funding for these services through the <br />Alameda County voter-approved Measure BB; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro FY 2025-2026 Measure BB allocations total $1,842,903, <br />consisting of $755,589 in new projected revenue, and $1,087,314 in prior years available funds; and <br />WHEREAS, the City proposes to implement the funding plan for Measure BB Paratransit Services <br />based on proposed FY 2025-2026 Measure BB funding allocations for paratransit services that align with <br />the 2025-2026 City of San Leandro Annual Paratransit Program Plan, which includes the following <br />vendors and amounts: (MV Transportation $970,464, GoGo Technologies $93,205, CityServe of the Tri- <br />Valley $75,000, Vietnamese American Community Center of the East Bay $50,000, and professional <br />services program design consultant TBD $10,000); and <br />WHEREAS, sufficient funding will be available and budgeted to support these Measure BB <br />paratransit activities; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the funding plan for Measure BB Paratransit Services <br />based on proposed FY 2025-2026 Measure BB funding allocations for paratransit services. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />1.That the acceptance and approval of Measure BB funds are hereby approved; and <br />2.The authorization of the City Manager to negotiate and execute agreements for Measure BB <br />funded paratransit services, is hereby approved; and <br />3.The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all documents and take all actions necessary <br />to effectuate the purpose and intent of this Resolution.DRAFT
