The 25 crit eria and indicators app ly u r ban fo rest ry <br />industry standards and best management practices to evaluate and rate t re e s, how they a re managed, a nd <br />the level of community involvement in the urban fo rest. <br />The criteria were organized by the three TMP themes: people, pe rforma nce, and planning. San Lean d ro's <br />performance level was r ated as low, medium, hig h , or opt imal based o n data ana lysi s, e x isting conditions, a nd <br />feedback from the City's project t eam and department staff T he areas o f low a nd medium pe rfor mance a re <br />areas of opportunities that, with active support a nd investme n t , could b e acf1ve ly e n hanced t o a h ig h o r <br />optimal p e rform an c e le v e l.
