IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2025-146 RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A NON- PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH SAN LEANDRO 2050 IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $195,000 FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THE WESTERN ALAMEDA COUNTY TREE PARTNER NETWORK WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro was awarded an Extreme Heat and Community Resilience Program Small Planning Grant from the Governor’s Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation in the amount of $244,545; and WHEREAS, the grant-funded project aims to foster community resilience to extreme heat through community-led tree and urban greening initiatives; and WHEREAS, San Leandro 2050 submitted a proposal and was selected to provide grant coordination and facilitation services as identified in the grant work plan; and WHEREAS, City Council is familiar with the contents of the agreement and finds its terms acceptable; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of the agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: 1. That the agreement, substantially in the form presented, is approved and the City Manager is authorized to execute the agreement with San Leandro 2050 for implementation of the Western Alameda County Tree Partner Network for an amount not to exceed $195,000.00; and 2. That the City Manager is authorized to take all actions and execute all documents necessary to affect the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
